Kale Chips

Three ingredients is all you need for crispy goodness! Bonus: it’s healthy!

I really don’t like kale. Except in these kale chips. They are crispy and healthy perfect for a midday snack. But beware, they will be gone in a blink of an eye. I’m not kidding. Everyone in the house came running when they came out of the oven.

Now since I used my kale supply up I need to get more desperately. They shrink in the oven so you naturally can eat a whole bunch in five minutes. I’m serious!

And when you need a salty snack it’s perfect. Give it a try even if you don’t like kale.

Kale Chips

  • Servings: 4

1 bunch kale (mine had 4-5 leaves)

1-1/2 tablespoons olive oil

salt, to taste

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
  2. Wash kale. Place kale leaves in a single layer on a towel. Pat dry and let air dry for five minutes.
  3. Remove leaves from the thick stems. Cut into 2 inch pieces.
  4. Place on a baking sheet and toss with salt and oil. Spread into an even layer. You will probably have to cook them in two batches to get crispness through out. Bake for 10-15 minutes or until crispy and slightly browned.
